Siemens NX I-DEAS is a program fromSiemensModeling and simulation of production lines. The software was originally developed by SDRC in 1982 and has been widely used by the auto industry - eg Ford and General Motors - but was later acquired by rival EDS in 2001 and merged with NX, finally in 2007 on company head. This product fell into the hands of Siemens.

This software provided all the facilities necessary for designing, modeling, optimizing, documenting, simulating, manufacturing and testing production lines, so that the design engineer, despite this software, would need almost no other similar software. It is a combination of Unigraphics Nx and I-DEAS, both of which are considered the best in the field of computer-aided design and construction.

By combining these two programs, Siemens has already provided an integrated and shared platform for the design and manufacture of various product lines. This reduces wasted time by frequent switching between different programs and makes it possible to reach the final output in less time and does not require you to learn two separate programs.

The graphic environment of this program is powerful and rich. Rich in the fact that you now have a wide range of integrated cloud applications rather than single software tools. This software is highly capable of parts modeling and it is easy to analyze the most complex industrial parts. The software is also compatible with a wide range of machinesCNCIt can produce outputs for these machines. I-DEAS currently holds a large share in the global market and is one of the most widely used software in this field.
